ykw its crazy i got an anon on my main account in regards to a post i reblogged that effectively said stop calling underpriveleged americans who are forced to work during the pandemic, because of Capitalism and kind of cuz money is needed to Survive, stupid and unclean and this person really said, well BLACK twitter made fun of australias bushfires and said that its deserved bc of colonialism and they mentioned something about the aboriginal ppl suffering and how its “unfair” that other countries cant make fun of americans.

i just have 2 say. literally my ancestors were aboriginal australians AND black like this is my history like how r u gonna say to a girl…let alone ANYONE…. that its ok to teehee haha at workers who are being exploited in behalf of capitalistic greed and are thereby more susceptible to getting sick. and bring up aboriginals as a defense in doing so? like first of all. the bush fires were preventable if the colonists had of allowed my ancestors land…to remain theirs. like its that simple, because the ppl there already have the knowledge and systems in place in order to prevent a huge, out of control wild fire. so colonists did cause this. thats a no brainer. 

but to actually say that “yeah sure lets make fun of the poor americans who are getting sick and having to go to work to survive teehee haha oh so funny”. nonamericans b grinding my gears and thinking theyre woke for some reason
