soon imma stop ranting about these weird ass fanfic elders but why did I see yet another post about how “writing about a topic isn’t romanticizing/condoning it” like I’m so tired of these weirdos saying this shit as if the rest of us don’t know the difference between writing about it/romanticizing it. The difference is that these fanfic writers literally frame abusive behavior as something that’s forbidden but hot and not as something traumatic. They write like dads x reader fics like it’s hot..

OMG you’re so right i totally forgot about That side of fanfic writers and honestly. that reminds me of this like 26 yr old woman with kids who would write about abuse and basically was that Tyra gif of “but make it sexy” or whatever… and the thing about these writers is that these ppl r like oh no i would neeever romance it 🥰 and then it comes out they ship bad ships and write p*rn abt underaged actors and whew. most “fanfic fandom elders” left standing are the white women freaks who pushed out the aspiring writers in their fandoms. tea
