He was and still is such an inspiration for black kids everywhere. I remember seeing BP with my nephew and he was beaming so hard at the screen bc there was a main character who looked just like him, who was surrounded bc people who looked like his family. Chadwick helped so many of us find our voice and I hope he’s resting easy now. I’m still in shock

honestly i am too. i have faith that he’s resting now…its just so jarring and so so terrible to lose someone as inspirational as him at such a young age, especially for all he’s done for the black community and all of the roles hes played… whew
