Marvel’s Indigenous characters (of which there are few as is) almost exclusively come from the Great Plains and Prairies. What a perfect opportunity to expand that right here, with a character like Ric who’s been coded as Indigenous since his creation but never outright said. And like, it’s mostly been negative coding, so all the more reason for someone to clean up that history by taking it seriously and doing right by his character and readers, you know? 

Anyway I will continue to headcanon at least that Julio is Wixarika and imagine positive stuff.
